Our Process

What to Expect

At Alpine Chimney Service, we have a thorough process where we work with you every step of the way. From the initial introductory phone call, to the chimney inspection, to any after-care services that are needed, we make sure to provide you with as much detail and information as possible. As experts in this field, we’ve formulated a step-by-step approach to making sure that we are providing you with the best services possible for any chimney and fireplace-related needs.

Our Process

What to Expect

We know you’ve got a lot on your plate. Between work, family, and life in general, it’s hard to find time for everything. That’s why we’ve developed our 7-step process to get your chimney and fireplace services taken care of quickly and efficiently. From start to finish, we’ll be with you every step of the way—from inspecting your chimney, to cleaning it, to making sure it’s safe for use.

STEP 1

Introductory Phone Call

The first step is to set up a phone call to educate and advise the customer. We will call to discuss your needs and diagnose your issue. During this call we gather information about your system, for example, type of fireplace, any problems you may be having, etc. At this time we will address any other top of mind issues as well. Lastly, we will determine what service best fits your needs and the steps necessary to resolve your concerns.

STEP 2

Schedule an Inspection

Our office staff will work with you to find a day and time that best suits your schedule.

STEP 3

Inspection

One of our certified chimney professionals will perform a Level II inspection. Alpine takes pride in providing a clean work area. Our technicians will cover the area with a drop cloth and use a HEPA filtered vacuum to ensure no dust gets in your home. A Level II inspection includes the sweeping and/or service of your unit, a video scan of your masonry stack flue, and a full detailed report with picture documentation.

STEP 4

Post-Inspection Report And Proposal

After inspection you will receive a detailed report stating the condition of your unit. The best part about this is, you will be provided with the pictures showing you every detail of your inspection. We will then educate you on your unit and all findings. Finally we will provide a complete proposal for all work to be completed.

STEP 5

Scheduling RepaIrs/Installation

When scheduling your repairs we will go back over your proposal and report with you to make sure you understand the repairs that are needed to bring your fireplace/unit up to code, and in working condition.

STEP 6

Scheduling RepaIrs/Installation

Our Certified Chimney Professional repair crew will come out and make all agreed upon repairs to your chimney and/or fireplace.

STEP 7

Wrap Up

Once we are finished one of our technicians will educate you on all repairs made, reviewing the completed work with you. If a new unit was installed, or service was provided on a gas appliance we will educate you on how to properly turn on/off the unit as well as lighting the pilot if necessary. If you had a sweep and inspection done we will educate you on proper burn techniques and/or the proper function of the system. At this time, we will address any final questions you may have.
